There were more than 2800 finishers at the race. (Mallet)
Naoko Ishibe was first woman, in 36:05. (Mallet)
David Kent(3177), Terry McLaughlin(2776) and George Buckheit(3029). Buckheit outkicked them, finishing in 33:51.(Mallet)
Phillippe Kozub(270) of Bethesda finished in 33:57, five seconds ahead of Bobby Lockhart (1469), age 16, of Winchester, VA.(Mallet)
