1. Seconds before the start.
2. Jeremiah Behan (49), in the white cap, of Leesburg, VA ran 1:01:42. Eric Luse (42), on the far right in the black tank top, of Manassas, VA ran 1:08:42.
3. Lemma Bonssa (21) of Silver Spring, MD blazed to victory in 32:28.
4. Patti Shull (39) of Ashburn, VA was 3rd in 37:34.
5. Hilary Cairns (27) of Washington, DC was 2nd in the 20-29 age group in 38:49.
6. Brian Sink (29) of Washington, DC cruised with a time of 39:15.
7. Mark Baldino (45) of Mason Neck, VA ran 39:40.
8. Tom Feeney (29) of Arlington, VA (left) edged Doug Landau (38) of Oak Hill, VA (right); both runners clocked 40:39.
9. Hometown favorite, Sarah Six (30) of Leesburg, VA, took 3rd in the 30-39 age group with a 41:25.
10. Another hometown lady, Mary Kay Williams (34) of Leesburg, VA, was 4th in the 30-39 age group, finishing in 43:38.
11. Far left: Michael Fischetti (42) of Herndon, VA ran 44:29. Middle: William Sutherlin (29) of Sterling, VA ran 44:30. Right: Bruce Reynolds (48) of Fairfax, VA also ran 44:30, but finished a hair ahead of Sutherlin.
12. Running is fun, as evidenced by Lisa Lambrecht (33) of Manassas, VA, who finished with a smile in 45:00.
