Washington Running Report
To Launch New Web Site
The Washington Running Report will be
launching its new Web site over the next few days, so you may have trouble
logging on or may see some odd things until the transition is complete.
As a Running Network site, the new Washington
Running Report site will be more text-based and faster to load. It will
also be more running news-oriented, bringing you the latest in running news
locally and around the country.
All of your favorite features will still be there,
albeit in different locations or guises. Our site is so full of content that
it will actually take several months before all of the material is transferred
over. In the meantime, all material will be available through the
"archives" of our existing site.
We thank our Webmaster, Tom Filippone, and Brenda
Barrera of The Running Network, for their Herculean efforts in this process.
After the site settles down next week, please take
a look and let us know what you think of the new site. I won't try to list all
the features here, but we think you'll be pleased.
