ROAD RACE MANAGEMENT RACE DIRECTORS' MEETING
AND TRADE EXHIBIT SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 

ANNE AUDAIN TO GIVE KEYNOTE

Washington, DC will again play host to Road Race Management's Race Directors' Meeting and Trade Show, October 25-27. One hundred fifty race directors, race officials, corporate sponsors, advertising and public relations executives, and others interested in road running are expected to attend this annual major fall gathering. 

The weekend offers informal networking opportunities and race officials also get a chance to shop for all their equipment and service needs at the two day Trade Exhibit, held in conjunction with the meeting. Exhibits include clocks, awards, competitor numbers, banners, fencing, finish-line services, computer products, t-shirts, jackets and other apparel, magazines, photographic services, running organizations and web services. 

Sessions will include information on event marketing, recruiting new runners , merchandising and promoting races, increasing minority participation in events, and in depth analyses of two major events and more. Anne Audain, Olympian, World Record Holder, winner of over 75 major road races, author and race director will give the key note luncheon address.
