INAUGURAL ROCK 'N' ROLL HALF MARATHON™ APPROACHING SELLOUT

participants from 48 states and several foreign countries have registered.

The Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon is patterned after the popular Suzuki Rock 'n' Roll Marathon® in San Diego
and the Country Music Marathon™ in Nashville, featuring an assortment of live bands staged approximately
every mile of the 13.1-mile course to provide runners and spectators with continuous entertainment. The
event concludes with an evening concert featuring a premier rock 'n' roll headliner.

The race offers a fast and flat seaside course, stretching through one of America's most scenic beach
resort communities. Runners and walkers will start the race at the Pavilion Convention Center and finish
with a spectacular post-race party on the ocean boardwalk.

The cost to enter the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon is $45. Included in the registration fee is an official race
T-shirt, goodie bag and a ticket to the concert.

"Based on the success we've had with our musical marathons and the enthusiasm this race has generated
in the past year, we anticipated a sellout for this event," said race director Tim Murphy. "We expect to
close very soon, so everyone interested needs to sign up now to avoid missing out on this exciting
inaugural event."

Of the 15,000 total entrants, 2,000 spots will be reserved for the Entertainment Industry Foundation's
Courage for Cancer participants. Hosted by actor Pierce Brosnan, Courage for Cancer will bring
courageous individuals to the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon with one purpose - to find a cure for women's
cancers.

Courage for Cancer participants who achieve their fundraising goals will receive a personalized half
marathon fundraising and training manual, fundraising support, Courage for Cancer gear, guaranteed entry
to one of the nation's premier half marathons, roundtrip airfare to Virginia Beach, a multiple night hotel stay
