Potomac Valley Association/USATF Will Honor “Runners of the Year” at Pike’s Peek 10k
(Association Athlete to be Selected for Women’s USATF 5k National Championship) 

The Potomac Valley Association (PVA) of USA Track & Field (USATF) will honor the Association’s  “Runners of the Year” at the Pike’s Peek 10k, Sunday, April 29, 2001, in Rockville, Maryland.  The awards ceremony will take place at White Flint after the completion of the 10k and kids runs. 

The Pike’s Peek 10k also serves as a qualifier for Freihofer’s Run for Women; the USATF 5k Women’s National Championship.  That morning, a woman will be selected to represent the Potomac Valley Association at this extraordinary event under the Freihofer’s Regional Development Program.
